Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) . Raise and properly support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Disconnect the secondary air injection pump hose. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pump Hose Replacement . Disconnect the secondary air injection pipe. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pipe Replacement .
1	Secondary Air Injection Pump Fasteners (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Secondary Air Injection Pump Procedure Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connectors from the secondary air injection pump.

CAUTION:

Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in)

Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connectors from the secondary air injection pump.
