Installation Procedure

  1. Install Fuel Tank Filler Pipe

  2. Install Fuel Tank Filler Hose
  3. Install Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp and tighten 4 N.m. (35 lb in)
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Connect Fuel Tank Filler Vent Hose - Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  5. Install Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Ground Strap

  6. Install Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Ground Bolt and tighten 9 N.m. (80 lb in)
  7. Install Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Bolt [3x] and tighten 10 N.m. (89 lb in)

  8. Refill the fuel tank.
  9. Inspect for fuel leaks.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
