Installation Procedure

  1. Install Starter(2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  2. Install Starter Nut (1) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
  3. Install Starter Bolt (3) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

  4. Install Starter Bracket (1)
  5. Install the starter bracket bolt (3) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  6. Install the starter bracket bolt (4) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
  7. Install Wiring Harness Retainer (2)

  8. Install Starter Ground Cable (5)
  9. Install the starter ground cable bolt (1) and tighten to 22 N.m N.m (16 lb ft).
  10. Install Generator and Starter Cable (4)
  11. Install the generator and starter cable start lead nut (3) and tighten to 12.5 N.m (111 lb in).
  12. Connect the starter wiring harness plug (2).
  13. Install Exhaust Front Pipe Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (1.4L LE2)
  14. Lower the vehicle.
  15. Connect Battery Negative Cable Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
