Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the driver window performs the UP and DOWN functions while using the S101D Door Lock/Window Switch-Driver.
    • If the driver window does not perform the UP or DOWN functions 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Driver Window Inoperative in the following below.

    • Go to next step: If the driver window performs the UP and DOWN functions 
  3. Verify the driver window performs the express UP and DOWN functions while using the S101D Door Lock/Window Switch-Driver.
    • If the driver window does not express UP or express DOWN 
    1. Normalize the driver window motor, refer to Power Window Reinitialization .
    2. Verify the driver window performs the express UP and DOWN functions.
      • If the driver window does not express UP or express DOWN, refer to Circuit/System Testing - Driver Window Express Malfunction in the following below.
    • Go to next step: If the driver window performs the express UP and express DOWN functions 
  4. Verify the passenger window performs the UP and DOWN functions at both the S101D Door Lock/Window Switch-Driver and S101P Door Lock/Window Switch-Passenger.
    • If the passenger window is inoperative from both the S101D Door Lock/Window Switch-Driver and S101P Door Lock/Window Switch-Passenger 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Passenger Window Inoperative From Both Switches in the following below.

    • If the passenger window is inoperative from the S101P Door Lock/Window Switch-Passenger only 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Passenger Window Switch Inoperative in the following below.

    • If the passenger window is inoperative from the S101D Door Lock/Window Switch-Driver only 

      Test or replace the S101D Door Lock/Window Switch-Driver.

    • Go to next step: If the passenger window performs the UP and DOWN functions at both switches 
  5. Verify the passenger window performs the express UP and DOWN functions while using the S101P Door Lock/Window Switch-Passenger.
    • If the passenger window does not express UP or express DOWN 
    1. Normalize the passenger window motor, refer to Power Window Reinitialization .
    2. Verify the driver window performs the express UP and DOWN functions.
      • If the passenger window does not express UP or express DOWN, refer to Circuit/System Testing - Passenger Window Express Malfunction in the following below.
    • Go to next step: If the passenger window performs the express UP and express DOWN functions 
  6. All OK.
