Functional Operation

The liftgate operates in the same manner as the power door locks. If the vehicle is equipped with power door locks, the lock and unlock circuits for the liftgate are shared with the passenger lock/unlock control circuits. If the vehicle is not equipped with power door locks, the liftgate will have it's own lock/unlock switch and will have it's own lock and unlock control circuits commanded by the BCM.
