Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering control module wiring harness connector (3) on the steering gear.
  2. Connect the power steering control module wiring harness connector (2) to the electronic power steering motor control module.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  4. Connect the power steering control module wiring harness connector (1) to the steering gear pressure sensor.
  5. Install a NEW wiring harness retainer (2) and secure the wiring harnesses.
