Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side (Coupe)Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side (Convertible)
  2. Remove Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe)Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible)
  3. Reposition Rear Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement (Coupe)Rear Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement (Convertible)
  4. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  5. Remove Rear Body Fuse Block Cover (3)
  6. Remove Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable Fastener (2)
  7. Remove Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (5) at Rear Body Fuse Block (4)
  8. Release the retainers (1)
  9. Reposition Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

  10. Release the retainers (1)
  11. Release the retaining strap (2)
  12. Pull the battery positive cable extension cable (3) into the passenger compartment.
  13. Reposition Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement - Right Side

  14. Release the retainers (1)
  15. Remove the pass-through grommet (2)

  16. Remove Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (4)
  17. Remove Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable Nut (3)
  18. Remove Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (2)

  19. Release the retainers (1)
  20. With the aid of an assistant, feed the battery positive cable extension cable (2) through the opening in the plenum and remove from vehicle.
