Preliminary Procedure Remove rear closure fixed handle applique. Refer to Rear Closure Fixed Handle Applique Replacement .
1	Rear Closure Fixed Handle Applique Screw (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Rear Closure Fixed Handle Applique Bracket
3	Liftgate Release Switch Procedure Release the retainer tabs on the liftgate release switch from the rear closure fixed handle applique bracket. Release the harness and grommet from the rear closure fixed handle applique bracket. Pull the liftgate release switch through the opening on the rear closure fixed handle applique bracket.
