Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel tank heat shield (3).

  2. Install the 3 fuel tank heat shield retaining screw bolt (2) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the fuel tank strap (1) retaining bolt and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  4. Install the front exhaust muffler assembly. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Front .
