Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the exhaust pipe - rear muffler nut. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement - Front .

  2. Remove the fuel tank strap retaining bolt (2) and band (1) left side only.
  3. Remove the 2 fuel tank heat shield retaining screw bolts (4).
  4. Remove the fuel tank heat shield (3).
