Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the nitrogen oxide sensor module wiring harness plug (4) from the nitrogen oxide sensor module (2).

  3. Remove the 2 nitrogen oxide sensor module bolts (1).
  4. Remove the nitrogen oxide sensor module (2) from the air cleaner lower housing (3).
  5. Loose the nitrogen oxide sensor (1), use a suitable tool, e.g. a crow foot.

  6. Remove the nitrogen oxide sensor (1).
