Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the fuel pump assembly (3) to the bracket and tighten the fasteners (1) to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  2. Connect the fuel lines (2) to the fuel pump assembly (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
  5. Start the vehicle and inspect for leaks.
