Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .

  3. Remove the generator cable boot (3) and remove the generator cable fastener (2), from the generator B + stud.
  4. Remove the generator cable (4) from the generator.

  5. Remove the pre-fuse junction block cover (4).
  6. Remove the generator cable fastener (3) and remove the generator cable (2), from the pre-fuse junction block stud (1).
  7. Remove the generator cable from the engine compartment.
