Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Exhaust Valve Solenoid Cover Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Exhaust Valve Solenoid Cover
3	Vacuum Pipe Fitting
4	Vacuum Pipe Fitting
5	Solenoid Connector
6	Exhaust Valve Solenoid Procedure Remove the solenoid cover fastener (1) and remove the solenoid cover (2). Remove the vacuum hoses (3) and (4). Remove the solenoid connector (5) and un-clip the solenoid from the bracket.
