Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Install new brake hose fitting gaskets.

  1. Assemble the brake hose fitting bolt (1) with 2 new brake hose fitting gaskets (2) to the brake hose fitting (3).
  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the brake hose assembly to the brake caliper and tighten the brake hose fitting bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  5. Position the brake hose to the bracket.
  6. Install the front brake hose retaining clip (1).

  8. Install the brake pipe fitting (1) to the front brake hose and tighten to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
  9. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
  10. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
