Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Relief the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .

  4. Disconnect the front fuel feed pipe connector (1) from the fuel injector rail and the fuel feed pipe(2) and remove the front fuel feed pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Close the fuel feed pipe connectors with CH-807  plugs.
  6. Unclip the fuel feed pipe (2) from the retainer clip (3).
  7. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the fuel pressure sensor (4).
  8. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  10. Remove the frame reinforcement fasteners (1) and remove the frame reinforcement(2).

  12. Remove the EVAP canister cover fasteners (1) and cover (2).

  14. Open the 5 fuel pipe clips (1).

  16. Disconnect the fuel tank feed pipe connector (1) from fuel feed pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  17. Close the fuel feed pipe and fuel tank feed pipe with CH-6015  plugs.
  18. Remove the fuel feed pipe.
