Preliminary Procedures

  1. Lift and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the exhaust muffler. Refer to Exhaust Muffler Replacement .
1 Catalytic Converter Heat Shield Fastener (Qty 4)
WARNING:

Refer to Hot Exhaust System Warning .
2 Catalytic Converter Heat Shield

Procedure

  1. Drill out the rivets securing the catalytic converter heat shield .
  2. Replace the catalytic converter heat shield and secure with #4 rivets.
