Installation Procedure

  1. Align the lock cylinder retaining pin with the access hole in the ignition lock cylinder case.
  2. Push the ignition lock cylinder into the ignition lock cylinder case. Ensure the lock cylinder retaining pin engages the access hole.
  3. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
  4. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
  5. Install the tilt lever. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Wheel Release Lever Replacement .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
