Preliminary Procedure:
Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1) or Cooling System Draining and Filling - Vac-N-Fill (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LAU) .

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Reposition the sensor heat shield.
Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.
Tighten: 20 N.m (35 lb in)
