Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2015 Cadillac SRX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

Do not replace the K14 Distance Sensing Cruise Control Module or K20 Engine Control Module if DTC P1553 or P15F6 are stored as history DTCs. This is a known issue that has no impact to system function and does not require any additional repair, programming or module replacement.

  1. Verify that no DTCs are set, except DTC P1553.
    • If only DTC P1553 is set
  2. Replace the K14 Distance Sensing Cruise Control Module.
  3. Verify DTC P1553 does not set when operating the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC.
    • If the DTC sets

Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.

    • If the DTC does not set
  4. All OK.
