Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

  1. Remove the engine control module (ECM) from on top of the battery cover and set aside.
  2. Remove the battery cover retaining tabs (1) and remove the battery cover (2).

  4. Loosen the battery negative cable clamp fastener (1) and remove the battery negative cable (2).
