Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Position the remote power steering fluid reservoir (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the remote power steering fluid reservoir nuts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Compress the power steering fluid cooler hose clamp (1).
  5. Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir and release the clamp.

  7. Compress the power steering gear inlet hose clamp (1).
  8. Connect the power steering gear inlet hose (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir and release the clamp.
  9. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
  10. Fill and bleed the power steering fluid system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
