Installation Procedure

NOTE:

Make sure that the alignment mark on the power steering return hose is installed at the bottom of the remote power steering fluid reservoir.

Install the following components to the remote power steering fluid reservoir (2):
- The power steering reservoir outlet hose. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (LS3, LS7) .
- The power steering return hose. Refer to Power Steering Return Hose Replacement (LS3, LS7) .
Install the remote power steering fluid reservoir (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir bracket (5).
Clean any excessive power steering fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
