Installation Procedure

  1. Position the shield around the tank frame.
    2. Fig 1: Positioning Tank Shield

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. While an assistant holds the shield in place, loosely install the shield retaining bolts.
  3. Tighten the shield retaining bolts to 20 N.m (14 lb ft)
  4. Lower the vehicle.
