Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CMP sensor (1) to the engine.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the CMP sensor (1) to engine front cover retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 10 Y (89 lb in).

  3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector (1) to the CMP sensor (2).
  4. Install the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LFX) .
  5. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  6. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .
  7. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
