Circuit/System Verification

  1. Service Mode active, command the EVAP leak detection pump switching valve from vent to not venting with a scan tool.
  2. Feel for valve movement when commanded. Also observe the scan tool EVAP leak detection pump switching valve command state. It should change from vent to not venting.
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
