Circuit/System Verification
NOTE:
On the scan tool, the powertrain relay is referred to as the Engine Controls Ignition Relay.
- Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify DTCs P0685 00, P0689 00, or P0690 00 are set.
- If any of the above DTCs are set, refer to DTC P0685, P0689, or P0690 .
- Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Engine Control Ignition Relay Feedback signal parameter. The parameter should display B+.
- If less than the specified value, refer to DTC P0685, P0689, or P0690 .
- Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Ignition 1 Signal and the Engine Control Ignition Relay Feedback signal parameters. Both parameters should display within 3 V.
- Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the freeze frame/failure records data.
