Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Disconnect the UREA pipe connection. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
1 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector Fasteners (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
25 N.m (18 lb ft) .
2 Emission Reduction Fluid Injector

Procedure

  1. Use a NEW gasket
  2. If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is less than 30 grams, enable the DPF. Refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable .
  3. If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is 30 grams or greater, refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration .
