Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the engine oil filter. Refer to ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the bank 2 knock sensor (3).

  6. Loosen the knock sensor bolt and remove the knock sensor.
