Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate module/sensor.
- Ignition OFF, test for less than 3 Ω between the ground circuit terminals listed below and ground:
- Terminal 13, K17 Electronic brake control module
- Terminal 38, K17 Electronic brake control module
- Terminal 6, B99 Steering wheel angle sensor
- Terminal 6, B119 Multi-Axis acceleration sensor
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+/ignition circuits listed below and ground:
- Terminal 1, K17 Electronic brake control module
- Terminal 25, K17 Electronic brake control module
- Terminal 35, K17 Electronic brake control module
- Terminal 5, B99 Steering wheel angle sensor
- Terminal 5, B119 Multi-Axis acceleration sensor
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the appropriate module/sensor.
