Setup For Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

• If any of the following components are replaced, an Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to THROTTLE/IDLE LEARN .
  • Throttle body assembly
  • ECM
• If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to CRANKSHAFT POSITION SYSTEM VARIATION LEARN .
  • CKP sensor
  • Engine replacement
  • Any engine repair that disturbs the relationship between CKP sensor and the crankshaft reluctor wheel.
• If any of the following components are replaced, a Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SENSOR LEARN .
  • Clutch pedal
  • Clutch pedal position sensor
