Installation Procedure

  1. Install the tilt lever (1).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the retaining bolt (3) to the tilt lever and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .
  3. Install the tilt lever spring (2).
  4. Install the lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
