Circuit/System Testing

If any DTCs other than P2269 are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .

IMPORTANT: The WIF lamp should be illuminated with this DTC. If the WIF lamp is not illuminated, refer to Water in Fuel Indicator Malfunction .
  1. Turn OFF the ignition and drain the fuel filter. Refer to Water-in-Fuel Draining .
  2. Turn ON the ignition and clear the DTC.
  3. Start and run the engine.
