Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the EGR vacuum solenoid valve.

    Tighten:  Tighten the EGR vacuum solenoid valve retaining bolts to 7 N.m (62 lb in)  .

  2. Connect the EGR vacuum solenoid valve connector.
  3. Connect the EGR vacuum solenoid valve inlet/outlet hoses.
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
