Conditions For Running DTC

C0710 5A, and 17: 

• The ignition is ON.
• Ignition voltage is greater than 8 volts.
• The steering wheel position sensor has been powered ON for 0.2 seconds.
• The steering wheel position sensor is centered.
• The steering rate of position signal A is less than 80 degrees per second.

C0710 5A:  Fault is set when the calculated steering angle from the sensor does not correlate with the steering angle calculated from the yaw rate.

C0710 4B: 

• The ignition is ON.
• Ignition voltage is greater than 8 volts.
• The steering wheel position sensor has been powered ON for 0.2 seconds.
• The steering wheel position sensor is centered.
• Steering Wheel Position Sensor not calibrated after installation.
