Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, inspect the crankshaft balancer bolt for the proper torque. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .
  2. Inspect for correct installation of the CMP sensor. Refer to Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Intake .
  3. Inspect the engine for correct valve timing. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain, Sprocket, and Tensioner Replacement .
