Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify that no immobilizer or automatic transmission DTCs are set that would cause the ECM to disable engine starting.
  2. Observe the ECM scan tool Starter Relay Circuit Status parameter(s). Verify that the scan tool does not display any circuit faults.
