Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, Clear the DTC. Observe the scan tool BCM Brake Applied Output Signal parameter. The parameter should change from ON to OFF when the brake pedal is depressed and released.
  2. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool BCM Shift Lock Command parameter. The parameter should change from ON to OFF when the brake pedal is depressed and released.
    • If the parameter does not change, replace the BCM.
