Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Handling and Storage Caution .
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Driver Side or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Passenger Side .
    3. Fig 1: Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor & Retaining Bolts

  3. Remove the retaining bolts from the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  4. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.
