Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.

  3. Install the CKP sensor (1).

    Tighten:   Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

  4. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the CKP sensor stud (2).

    Tighten:   Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the CKP sensor.
  7. Install exhaust manifold. Refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT - RIGHT (3.9L) .
