Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat into the vehicle.
  2. Lift the back of the seat to about 45 degrees to engage the front seat hooks to the floor anchors.
  3. Extend the power seat wires under the carpet.
  4. Lower the rear of the seat base by dropping the seat from a height of about 7.6 cm (3 in) to engage the rear hooks to the floor anchors.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT: If you cannot fit the bolts through the hooks, the hooks are not locked down sufficiently. Raise the back of the seat base and drop the seat again until the rear hooks are locked allowing the bolts to be inserted.
  6. Install the lock bolts to the rear hooks.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  8. Connect the electrical connector from the seat to the harness behind the quarter trim panel.
  9. Push on the quarter trim panel to return the panel into place.

  11. Install the lower anchor bolt to the seat belt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  13. Install the trim cover to the front lower base.

  15. Install the trim covers to the upper seat base.
  16. Test the seat for proper operation.
