Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER REPLACEMENT .
  2. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the spark plug wire clip from the intake manifold bracket, if necessary.
  4. Remove the MAP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the MAP sensor.
  6. Remove the MAP sensor seal from the upper intake manifold.
