Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fuel Pressure Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure .
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  4. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector.
  5. Disconnect the breather hose from the valve cover.
  6. Remove the air intake tube.

  8. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.

  10. Remove the fuel pressure regulator retaining clamp.
  11. Remove the fuel pressure regulator by turning it back and forth and then pulling it out.
  12. Discard the O-ring.
