Installation Procedure

Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the power steering gear.
Tighten: Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the power steering pump (1).
Tighten: Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
