Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 .
    2. Fig 1: Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor & Retaining Bolts

  2. Remove the retaining bolts from the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  3. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.
