Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Flammability Caution in Cautions and Notices.
    CAUTION: Refer to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fuel Pressure Relief Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Relieve the CNG fuel system pressure. Refer to the Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure .
  2. CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Engine Electrical.
  4. Remove the CNG fuel tank cover. Refer to Fuel Tank Cover Replacement .

  6. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor (2) electrical connector.
  7. Remove the FTP sensor (2) from the tank valve. Discard the O-ring.
