Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures Remove the (PSD) Power Sliding Door motor clutch assembly. Refer to Motor Clutch Replacement - Power Sliding Door (With RPO E58) or Motor Clutch Replacement - Power Sliding Door (With RPO E59) . Disconnect the in-line connector for the optical sensor.
1	Sensor, Rear Sliding Door Optical Tip: Squeeze the integral clips on the optical sensor in order to remove the sensor from the motor clutch housing.

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the (PSD) Power Sliding Door motor clutch assembly. Refer to Motor Clutch Replacement - Power Sliding Door (With RPO E58) or Motor Clutch Replacement - Power Sliding Door (With RPO E59) .
Disconnect the in-line connector for the optical sensor.

Sensor, Rear Sliding Door Optical
Tip: Squeeze the integral clips on the optical sensor in order to remove the sensor from the motor clutch housing.
