Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the following components from the front side door (3):
    1. The 2 screws (1)
    2. The front side door pull handle bracket (2)

  3. Remove the 3 screws which secure the front radio speaker (2) and bracket (1) assembly to the door.
  4. Disconnect the front radio speaker electrical connector (3).
  5. Remove the front radio speaker (2) and bracket (1) assembly from the vehicle.

  7. Peel and remove the front side door water deflector (3) from the door (1).
  8. Inspect the water deflector (3) for holes. Use waterproof tape in order to repair any holes found. Apply waterproof tape to both sides of the water deflector (3), if necessary.
