Installation Procedure

  1. Turn the console lock to the LOCK position.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Console Trim

  2. Install the console trim to the console base.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the screw retaining the console trim to the console base by the shift bezel lever.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the 2 upper console retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the 2 screws inside the storage bin area and close the lid.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the parking brake handle bezel.
  7. Put the left and right seat backs to an upright position.
  8. Install the shift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement .
  9. Install the gearshift knob. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement .
  10. Install the rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper .
