Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the EGR valve with the bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the electrical EGR valve retaining bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft)  .

  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose to the EGR valve.
  3. Connect the EGR valve electrical connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
